Randall B. Ashby was a partner of the law firm Waldron & Schneider. Born a 6th generation Texan in Gatesville, Texas, Mr. Ashby graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.B.A. in Marketing with honors in 1976, and received his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Bates College of Law in 1980. He was licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the federal courts of the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Upon graduating from law school Mr. Ashby worked as a prosecutor with the City of Houston Attorney’s Office for approximately 5 years.
Mr. Ashby had extensive experience in business law including formation of companies, partnerships, trusts, contract drafting and negotiations, sales and acquisitions; real estate; foreclosures; estate planning and asset protection; and wills and an extensive probate practice in Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend, Montgomery, and Brazoria counties representing executors, administrators and beneficiaries. Mr. Ashby’s clients included those active in the business community as small to medium sized business owners, title companies, banks, residential and commercial real estate, financial planning, education, telecommunications, individuals and families.
Mr. Ashby lived in the community with his wife and their sons, and was active in the community including being a member of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, the O.N.E. networking organization, and served on the Board of Trustees for the Armand Bayou Nature Center.
