Mark A. Rubal

Mark A. Rubal is a senior litigation partner at Waldron & Schneider. He joined the firm in 2006. Mr. Rubal is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in criminal law and has an AV Preeminent rating. This is the highest possible rating for any attorney in both ethical standing as well as legal ability. The AV Preeminent rating is the apex of professional excellence. In order to achieve this trusted rating, an attorney needs to be reviewed and thus recommended by their peers, which includes those who are bar members and serve in judiciary roles. Mr. Rubal has also been selected as a Lawyer of Distinction since 2021.


Mr. Rubal is from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and he graduated in May of 1982 from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree in Administration and Management Science and Economics. Mr. Rubal received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston-Law Center in December of 1989. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and has litigated cases in several federal jurisdictions both at the district court and appellate levels in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Rubal initially worked as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s office for approximately four years.

 

Mr. Rubal has extensive trial and litigation experience in broad subject areas, including criminal defense, personal injury claims, wrongful death, insurance law, commercial and contract disputes, confidentiality and trade secrets, organizational matters, consumer law, plus other areas of general litigation and appeals.
